Five Out of the Pit (Five, #2)
The Five find their way to Moab, Utah where, before they’re even settled in, evil finds them.

As Paige fights to keep from succumbing to the pull of an Incubus that has her marked as his next conquest, Johnathan seeks to find a way to rid her of a curse she willingly accepted in order to save him.

A surprising revelation initiates a long-awaited, yet unexpected, reunion for Alec who discovers a new magical talent he possesses.

The FIVE, along with their mentor, Joe, must figure out what was meant by the last words of a Demon as it was sent back to the Netherworld—a promise of Gathering darkness—and stop the evil before it’s unleashed on the small town of Moab. And, the world.

He was interrupted by the Demon’s laughter. “I shall return to this realm a short time hence. Along with a multitude of Demons and Fae.”

“What are you talking about?” Joe asked.

“He’s just stalling,” Seth hissed.

“Believe what you will, young Quinaie Praesidia.”

“How do you plan to return?” Joe persisted.

“You shall know the hour is at hand when the heavens gather blackness and all the elements combine to protect the way. The very jaws of Hell shall gape open its mouth wide after The Five. You should all be very afraid.” It laughed its Demonic laugh, rows of teeth dripping green saliva that hissed as it hit the floor.

Holy crap. I just found the cutest couple of the month... probably year. Or forever?

I totally understand if you guys, at least some of you, would feel that this novel is too cheesy for your taste. I got to tell you in advance that there will be lots of kisses, lots of affection, and lots of love confession in this book. You guys who hate that kind of things would not like this book. This could be a little too-much-romance-blargh for some of you. Me? well, I love this book. Everything about it. I thought Paige and Jonathan was super cute. I just can't believe tho, that a teenage boy , Jonathan, could have that kind of devotion. But then, this is a novel, anything could happen.

Paige is not exactly the kind of heroine that I would love, I didn't love her by the end of book one, and I never thought I would love her by the end of book two, but I do. She cries and everything, and not once, but she's also not weepy. She fights, even though she's not that good at it. I don't know why... I just love her as she is. Jonathan... I love Jhonny even from the start. He's like the sweetest and cutest guy ever. love the romance. I live for it.

Two thumbs up for the writing style! love the first person. When the conflict happens (the romance conflict) my heart practically broke for her, I connected well with Paige, the narrator.

Overall, there's only one word I would say to describe my feelings for this book: LOVE (in caps)
