Concealed

Series: Beholder #2
Publisher: Monster House Books
Published: 25th October 2016

As a Grand Mistress Necromancer, Elea’s a witch who commands the ultimate power over spirit and bone. It’s magic that she’ll need in order to stop the Vicomte Gaspard from killing her Sisters by draining their magic along with their life force. To find and free her fellow witches, Elea must venture into some of the most dangerous places in the realm.
What starts off as a rescue quest could easily turn into a suicide mission. And with the handsome warlock Rowan along to help, Elea may be risking more than her life. Her growing feelings for Rowan might put her heart on the line, too.

Another amazing sequel by Christina Bauer! I would like to take a moment to thank Christina for sending me an e-arc, and for the fabulous adventure that I just went through.

Elea, now even more powerful than ever, had decided to go on a journey herself to safe her lost Necromancer sisters from the hands of the evil Vicomte, who made it his job to harvest and drain Necromancer magic from them. The whole plot had been the epitome of unexpected, at least for me. With new characters and twists up ahead, Concealed had been a total emotional roller coaster. In a good way.

On a side note though, unfortunately I did found the first book to be more engaging than this second one somehow, but that didn't stop me from finishing this book and literally jumping up and down waiting for the next instillment, can't wait to see what happen next. It's still a 4/5 stars, so yes you are good to go. Grab a copy for yourself now!
